Skill Levels: Skill levels are used to determine how competent one is when using different forms of combat, Hakuda and Zanjutsu for example. One can use these to outmaneuver another if their skill level in a particular area is greater or match wits with an opponent's specialized area. There are four levels in total, and everyone starts at the lowest.

Practitioner: An individual who performs reasonably against average armed opponents and can put up a decent fight against others of their size. They are capable in combat in instances where they need the use of a skill to give them an edge in battle. Practitioners are not the most likely to engage face to face, but they have the option. This is the default level for everyone.

Combatant: An averagely performing individual who can put up a reasonable fight against those a few times their size. They are well versed in combat in instances where they need the use of a skill to give them an edge in battle.

Expert: A skillful fighter capable of taking on opponents many times their size easily. While not masters, an expert is more than capable of handling themselves in a fight.

  • Onmitsukidō: If one has achieved this level of skill in Hakuda, it is possible to join the likes of the Onmitsukidō. To join, one must have the approval of the Second Division Captain, IC, or from an Admin.
  • Kidō Corps: If one has achieved this level of skill in Kidō, it is possible to join the likes of the Kidō Corps. To join, one must have the approval of the Captain Commander, IC, or from an Admin.

Master: An incredibly skillful fighter who has fully understood the art they specialize in, or arts. These are the best trained officers who can maneuver incredibly well and face opponents many times their size with ease. It is expected that those of this level are capable of protecting themselves in any given situation.

Training: It's important to be able to hone your skills and get stronger in each department. Here's a little guide that helps you with the requirements when it comes to training up your skill levels. Keep in mind that training these up requires, not only a specified word count, but yen.

Practitioner to Combatant: 1000 word count | 2000 yen
Combatant to Expert: 2000 word count | 3000 yen
Expert to Master: 4000 word count | 5000 yen
